Senior RF Test Engineer
Job Description:
The position is responsible for developing high volume production RF test solutions for packaged IC’s and KGD using both in house designed and commercial ATE’s. This person will work closely with Design Engineering, Program Management, and Manufacturing in delivering the highest quality level of tested products.
Additionally, this position will support new product introductions in defining test plans, designing and or selecting associated RF hardware and test equipment, then releasing same to production. Measurement system analysis (GRR), quality system and SPC knowledge is a plus.
Qualifications:
BS desired, MS preferred in Electrical Engineering with strong technical background in RF, analog/digital circuit test design, measurement methodologies and test equipment for IC and module level testing.
Minimum of 8 years related experience in RF or mixed-signal high-speed ASIC testing.
Experience with several of the following test platforms is desired:
- Rack and stack systems including VXI
- Roos ATE
- Teradyne Catalyst ATE
- Fusion CX ATE
- Eagle ATE
Experience and knowledge of the following are highly valued:
- Demonstrated record of releasing high volume RF products into production environment
- Demonstrated support of off-shore test facility
- High volume RF wafer probe experience with low cost alternatives to Cascades Membrane Probe solution.
- Solid understanding of multiple programming languages including CVI (C, C++)
- SPC and effective implementation
- 2.5D Design and Simulation of high frequency load boards.
- RF simulation using CAD tools such as ADS
Must be a self-starter and team player who is able to work with minimal supervision and have excellent problem solving skills.
