Job Description:
As part of the technology development team, the Staff Yield Engineer will perform product and process yield analysis in support of process development and qualification of deep-submicron Ultra Thin Silicon (UTSi) CMOS technology. Responsibilities include qualification vehicle development and testing, yield correlations to defect, device and sort parametrics, and product/defect failure analysis. Work closely with device engineers and external manufacturing partners to implement process improvements and improve yield of new processes.
Qualifications:
BSEE or equivalent. MSEE/PhD is preferred. Minimum of 5 years experience in semiconductor manufacturing environment and yield enhancement. Thorough understanding of deep-sub micron processes, device physics, IC design and test. Good data analytical, problem solving, and communication skills. Experience with statistical yield analysis, physical failure analysis, device and circuit characterization preferred. Direct working experience with analog and RF ICs is highly desirable.

This position is available in the San Diego, CA corporate headquarters.
