Wired broadband covers many applications and products. Customer-premises equipment (CPE) is typically found in homes and includes routers, set-top boxes, home networking, smart TVs, etc. Headend equipment is the primary facility for receiving cable signals where the signals are processed and distributed.
Peregrine has developed a broad range of 50Ω and 75Ω products to support the large range of requirements. The broadband market requires a wide range of products, from simple glue switches that connect the many different signal paths together to digital step attenuators (DSA) to protect the RF path for opto-RF conversions.
Peregrine supplies high isolation, high linearity products into this market, including DSAs and switches.
