NASA Tech Briefs Shows How Peregrine’s POL Power-Management System Helps NASA’s SpaceCube 2.0

NASA Tech Briefs reports on NASA Goddard Space Flight Center’s selection of Peregrine’s UltraCMOS® PE99155 point-of-load (POL) power management chips for its SpaceCube 2.0 Hybrid Science Data Processor. The SpaceCube systems are extremely high-computing power, onboard science-data processors for space missions. Peregrine’s high-performance, rad-hard, SEL-immune components helped NASA’s design team meet its goals of delivering order-of-magnitude improvements in on-orbit computing performance over traditional flight computing systems.
