Application Note - PE19601 MPAC-Beamforming Performance Optimization

Peregrine’s PE19601 high linearity MPAC-beamforming device, based on UltraCMOS® technology, covers the 6–14 GHz range and is suitable for beamforming networks and radar applications across this frequency range. The PE19601 enables programming for optimized root mean square (RMS) phase error and RMS amplitude error via a digital phase shifter (DPS) and digital step attenuator (DSA).  

A new application note, PE19601 MPAC-Beamforming Performance Optimization (AN50) has been released by Peregrine and offers in-depth information on phase and amplitude error optimization, programming for best performance across the entire broadband frequency range as well as sub-bands within the full range, additional control/optimization options and use of lookup tables in conjunction with the PE19601 graphical user interface (GUI).
