Intelligent Integration Examples
Founded with a vision for integration nearly three decades ago, Peregrine has introduced a broad range of industry-leading integrated products and technologies over its history. Two excellent examples of intelligent integration delivering distinct design advantages are Peregrine’s PE42020 True DC RF switch and Peregrine’s family of monolithic phase and amplitude controllers (MPAC).
- The UltraCMOS PE42020 is the industry’s first and only RF integrated switch to operate from DC (0 Hz) to 8 GHz. The True DC RF switch integrates high performance RF switching, analog DC tracking and digital control logic and impedance control on a single chip. The PE42020 was honored with a 2015 Electronic Products “Product of the Year” award.
- The UltraCMOS PE19601 MPAC–Beamforming solution, a member of Peregrine’s family of monolithic phase & amplitude controllers (MPAC), integrates a digital step attenuator, a phase shifter, RX/TX switching and a digital serial interface on a monolithic die. Through intelligent integration, the PE19601 seamlessly combines RF and analog processing with digital programmability to deliver the flexibility to tune gain and phase at fine resolution.
