Digi-Key Corporation and Peregrine Semiconductor Ink Global Distribution Agreement

THIEF RIVER FALLS, Minnesota, and San Diego, California, USA  May 5, 2011 Electronic components distributor Digi-Key Corporation, recognized by design engineers as having the industry’s broadest selection of electronics components available for immediate shipment, and radio frequency integrated circuit (RFIC) manufacturer Peregrine Semiconductor today announced the two companies have finalized a global distribution agreement involving Peregrine’s UltraCMOS™ RFIC products.

A number of Peregrine’s  most popular RF ICs—RF swiches, digital step attenuators, PLL frequency synthesizers, mixers and prescalers—are now available for purchase on Digi- Key’s global websites. 

Peregrine Semiconductor is a fabless supplier of high-performance RFICs which leverage its proprietary UltraCMOS technology, enabling the design, manufacture, and integration of multiple RF, mixed-signal, and digital functions on a single chip. Peregrine’s products target a broad range of applications in the aerospace and defense, broadband, industrial, mobile wireless device, test and measurement equipment, and wireless infrastructure markets.
