The global pSemi/Murata intellectual property (IP) team is thrilled to honor David Giuliano, a trailblazing engineer who recently achieved the milestone of officially having 100 U.S. patents granted. This is a historic first for our company. David is a driving force behind our industry-leading charge pump IP portfolio, which now includes over 200 U.S. patents, more than any other company in the industry. His contributions continue to shape and strengthen our leadership in capacitive-based power conversion products.
A greater number of David’s patents have been developed in collaboration with one or more co-inventors, reflecting a strong culture of teamwork and a commitment to surfacing the best ideas across our engineering teams and our research and development partners. These innovations have had a lasting impact, making their way into nearly every product for the power business.
Beyond inventing, David plays a key role on the pSemi IP committee, where he serves as a sponsor for most of the filings within the company’s power business. He is deeply involved in all aspects of the patent creation process from reviewing invention disclosures and shaping claims to working closely with the IP team to ensure each idea is fully understood and strategically protected. With many more ideas already in motion, David is far from slowing down: He’s continuing to write the next chapters of innovation, one invention at a time.
