Stefan Wolff has over 15 years of general management experience in semiconductor and communications technologies. Prior to joining pSemi in 2017, he served as vice president and general manager of Intel’s mobile communications business in Munich, Germany. While at Intel, Wolff led a global team in developing and producing cellular modem and mobile connectivity products, securing high-profile development contracts and scoring industry-changing design wins with top smartphone vendors. Prior to Intel, Wolff managed the smartphones and RF business unit at Infineon and led an RF development center for Siemens Mobile in the United States. He started his career in automotive electronics as an RF design engineer at Bosch.
In addition to his exceptional leadership skills, Wolff has a strong technical background that includes a B.S. degree in electrical engineering from the University of Applied Sciences in Berlin.
Jim Cable, Ph.D.
Chairman and CTO
James "Jim" Cable, Ph.D. serves as the chairman and chief technology officer (CTO) of pSemi. From 2002 to 2017, Cable served as the company's CEO where he led our team through the rigors of an IPO and championed the 2014 acquisition to Murata Manufacturing Company. Cable joined our team in 1996 and has also held positions as COO and vice president of technology and engineering. Cable has more than 35 years of experience in semiconductor research, development and production, including Hughes Microelectronics Center, Hughes Technology Center and TRW. He is currently a Director on the Board of CommNexus, a San Diego, Calif., non-profit technology industry association that works to accelerate the formation, growth and success of the technology industry.
He received his B.S. in physics from UC Riverside and his master's degree and Ph.D. in electrical engineering from UCLA.
Dylan Kelly joined our team in 2000 and has held various technical and management positions in RFIC design and marketing. From 2010 through 2017, Kelly served as the vice president and general manager of the mobile wireless business and subsequently as the chief operating officer (COO). Prior to joining the company, he was with Motorola engaged in transceiver design.
Kelly holds a B.S. degree in electrical engineering from the University of Texas at Austin and an M.S. degree in electrical engineering from the University of California, San Diego. He is the author of numerous technical papers and has 37 issued and pending patents.
