During November and December, pSemi employees helped to make the holidays merry and bright for those less fortunate—and also took time for self-care and to celebrate a successful year.
Giving Back
In November, pSemi employees in our San Diego headquarters hosted a food drive for The Jacobs & Cushman San Diego Food Bank. Employees contributed 513 pounds of food, enabling the food bank to provide more than 425 meals to people in need. Their contributions assist children and families, active-duty military and fixed-income seniors living in poverty.
Again this year, our team participated in The Salvation Army Angel Tree® program, which assists families who are in crisis as a result of medical issues, unemployment, homelessness or other difficult circumstances. Our employees generously donated holiday gifts benefitting 30 children and 10 seniors in the San Diego community.
Holiday Wellness & Celebrations
A popular pSemi holiday tradition is “Maintain No Gain”. Participants who maintain their weight, lose weight, or gain no more than two pounds between late November and the first week of 2020 are entered into a prize raffle, with a grand prize going to the participant who loses the greatest percentage of body weight. Across all pSemi locations, 114 employees are taking part in this activity and are looking to maintain their weight in spite of all the season’s potlucks, parties and desserts.
Finally, our employees capped off 2019 with various holiday parties organized for each of our offices worldwide. As we enjoyed good food, drinks and entertainment, our team celebrated the holiday season and reflected on the year’s accomplishments.
