Microwaves & RF Interviews Peregrine’s VP of Marketing

Microwaves and RF editor Jean-Jacques DeLisle recently interviewed Peregrine’s VP of marketing, Duncan Pilgrim, as part of the publication’s Inside Track series.

In the short, informative interview, Pilgrim highlights the uses and benefits of RF SOI technology, as well as including a look to the future with the intended acquisition by Murata. RF SOI is a key enabler for the growing integration of mobile technologies. RF SOI technology is excellent for applications that need high-end RF performance, configurability, high reliability and a future need for integration. Its makeup allows it to be integrated with analog, digital and mixed signal capabilities. It can accommodate multi-domain capabilities in one chip. While currently used mostly for mobile needs, with only growing potential with the fifth-generation 5G rollout, the automotive industry is sure to use the technology for its connectivity systems and infotainment. The Murata acquisition will combine Murata’s mobile RF module capabilities with Peregrine’s RF products.
